My Efforts Feel Valued

Having volunteered with the Reading Rocks program for over a year, I have been able to provide students who identi-fy as having a learning disability with extra support through my role as a tutor. When I hear parents say, “My kid loves learning more because of you,” and “We can see what a catalyst you have been on our child’s skill growth,” it makes my efforts feel valued, knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone’s life.
