Our connection to one another is what sees us through difficult times. As school and extra-curricular activities continue to be entirely online, the students in our weekly reflection groups, courses, and volunteer work are discovering the life-sustaining joy of being part of a caring network of relationships. This spring, over 60 students are taking our Becoming Yourself Series hoping, in their words, to “find more balance and purpose in my life!” and to “find help to reflect and connect with others.” For Brooj, this course has been like finding family and has led to so many positive changes in her life. For Mohammad, Clare and our student volunteers, the sense of community they have with their weekly group extends outwards as they support children, youth, and seniors during the pandemic. These stories are only a few of many we could share with you – thank you for your support as we nurture these experiences of belonging, growth, and service for students and the community!
