Train a student leader of a weekly volunteer group.
Each of our 30 weekly volunteer groups are led by one or two student facilitators. Through ongoing workshops, leadership team meetings, and individual coaching by our staff, we empower them with skills and character development to be compassionate and skilled leaders. These student leaders assist with communication, build community, and lead a reflection activity for their group after each volunteer session.
These programs not only produce students who have become more socially aware, they create students who will leave their university career as responsible citizens; leaders who are ready to enter society as compassionate, understanding people enthusiastic in their passion for helping others.
